What Are Blue Flags?
The Blue Flag is an award given each year by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to beaches and marinas that meet a set of environmental and facility standards.
The criteria for a Blue Flag designation are reviewed and agreed upon annually on an international level. They’re divided into four main categories:
